Some words from Dualta:

“I am delighted to be joining CBM Ireland and look forward to working with the Board and the Team in Ireland, as well as CBM Global, to help achieve its ambition of making a meaningful contribution to delivering change for and with persons with disabilities in some of the most challenging parts of the world. The mission and vision of the organisation is a noble and worthwhile one and I hope that I am able to contribute to it in the coming years. I know from my last 20 years working in development and humanitarian contexts, that the work is not easy and many – and new – obstacles appear as conflict and disasters add to the challenges in already difficult contexts, and that people with disabilities are often the ones that get hit hardest where the support structures are already limited. Prioritising working on ensuring people with disabilities are included and not forgotten is a valuable contribution and one that I am proud to be a part of.”

We are confident that with Dualta's expertise and leadership, CBM Ireland will continue to grow and thrive and we will continue our mission for an inclusive world in which all persons with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential.

We are very pleased to welcome Dualta to the team and look forward to a successful future together.
