Be the reason a child sees again.

You can be part of life-changing transformations like Buddha and Chanas’.

This is Goma’s Story

A Family in Darkness

In a small cottage on the outskirts of Biratnagar a small village in Nepal, 27-year-old Goma Bista was struggling to raise her two young sons, Buddha (9) and Chanas (5). All three suffered from congenital bilateral cataracts. Life was unimaginably difficult — Goma could not work, her children could not attend school, and even simple daily tasks were nearly impossible.

Hope at last

Thanks to the support of caring people like you, everything changed. The family was referred to Biratnagar Eye Hospital, where doctors confirmed that cataract surgery could restore their sight. Now, Buddha and Chana’s are back in school, laughing and playing together again.

Give a gift

A Brighter Tomorrow

Cataracts nearly stole Buddha and Chanas’ childhood. Without urgent treatment, they could have faced a lifetime of blindness. Thanks to CBM supporters, their sight was saved—and so were their futures.

Your support today can bring this same gift to another child waiting in darkness.
