CBM Ireland Statement on Coronavirus
Sarah O’Toole CEO, CBM Ireland
The team at CBM Ireland are sending you and your loved ones our very best wishes and hope that you are keeping safe and well during this most challenging time for all of us.
Our first priority is to keep those we serve, our colleagues and partners safe. We have suspended all travel to the countries we work in, and the CBM Ireland team is following government guidelines and working from home to avoid putting themselves and anyone else at risk.
CBM is working very hard in its response to the Coronavirus pandemic. People with disabilities in the poorest countries of the world are extremely vulnerable and we are working to ensure that they are not left behind.
You can read more about how we are working through this crisis here.
With the continuing help of our generous supporters, we have stood by those most in need in times of crises and we will continue to help as much as we can during this crucial time.
Children, women and men with disabilities living in poverty face even further isolation as the Coronavirus pandemic takes hold in their communities. They need our support now more than ever. Your generosity has always shown that you care deeply about helping those in need and we really appreciate your kindness and commitment to those we serve.
Our phone lines remain open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and we would love to hear from you. Whether you’d like to have a chat about what we do, make a donation, or simply just speak to us - we are listening. You can reach us on (01) 8730300 or Freephone 1800 225 225.
Thank you for all that you do.
