Bringing Christmas colours to a child living in darkness

From the lights in the streets to the colourful Christmas trees, beautifully wrapped presents and cheerful cards – these things bring smiles to all children’s faces.

But for a child like Sesan, Christmas was a time without colour.

Sesan is is just 5 years old and lives in Nigeria. Noah, Sesan’s father, told us that Sesan’s blindness had been “affecting the heart of almost everyone in the family.”

Thanks to the generosity of CBM supporters, Sesan was offered the chance to undergo the surgery he so badly needed, and received the Gift of Sight.

The world has forgotten these families. But together, we can do more, and prevent more children from losing their sight from preventable causes.

. €40 could cover the cost of transport to hospital for a child needing life-changing surgery

. €55 could pay for vital medical supplies needed for cataract surgery

. €105 could pay for a child like Sesan to have cataract removal surgery, enabling them to see

Will you please give the Gift of Sight this Christmas and help more children see the vivid colours of Christmas?
