Did you know? If you give €250 or more to CBM in a calendar year, your donation could be worth 45% more.

Through the Revenue Commissioners Tax Efficient Giving Scheme, we could claim at least €112 if you fill out a tax relief form.

Thanks to you, we can provide life-saving essentials

With the kind and generous support of CBM Ireland Donors, we have been providing support to some of the people affected by Tropical Cyclone Idai in Zimbabwe.

Cyclone Idai hit Mozambique on 14th March, then continued to devastate communities in Zimbabwe and Malawi. More than 1.5 million people have been affected. Over 1,000 people have been reported dead, and almost 100,000 displaced in what the UN has said could be the worst weather-related disaster to ever strike the southern hemisphere.

Thanks to you, we have been on the ground in Zimbabwe, helping some of the most vulnerable people.

People like Elliot.

“The rain was coupled with strong winds which destroyed my house.”

Elliot had a stroke almost five years ago, which left him with a physical disability. Cyclone Idai destroyed the house he had built some years ago, leaving him with no home.

With your help, CBM is providing assistance to Elliot and many others like him. We are working to make sure most at-risk families are receiving relief. Thank you for making this possible.

CBM supporters know all too well that at times like these, it's often the most vulnerable who get left behind. People who are blind, or who cannot walk, simply cannot fight for survival in the same way that others can. Not unless we make sure they are included in all emergency response. You can help us do that today.
