Goodwill Ambassadors

Moya Brennan

Moya Brennan is best known for her lyrical singing and the contributions she has made to Irish music. She is also a supporter of CBM Ireland and was appointed goodwill ambassador in 2001.

Since her appointment Moya has worked tirelessly to highlight CBM's work often in the most harrowing of circumstances. Her travels with CBM have taken her to Rwanda in 2004, the Congo in 2005, Brazil in 2007, and recently Tanzania in february of this year.

Sinead Desmond

Sinead Desmond is an anchor on the TV3 morning show 'Ireland AM'. Having previously worked with the Irish Sun newspaper she had come across CBM in her work. She now advocates and represents CBM as a Goodwill Ambassador when she can.

Sinead recently joined the CBM team and has already paid a visit to one of our projects in Rwanda. From her visit she returned to Ireland and put together a short television series which was aired on 'Ireland AM'.
