CBM is monitoring the situation closely
8 December - Typhoon Hagupit (locally named Ruby) made landfall on the Eastern Samar coast, near the town of Dolores on 6 December. This is just over a year after Typhoon Haiyan struck the country.
CBM has made contact with all partners who were in the path of the storm and none have reported casualties or major damages.
Based on needs assessment reports in affected areas CBM will work in coordination with other organisations to ensure that their work is disability and age inclusive.
In responding to disaster, we work - together with partners - to ensure that people with disabilities are included at all levels of relief, recovery and rehabilitation.
