CBM launches an infographic linking the Agenda 2030 and the SDG's to the UN CRPD

CBM will launch an infographic linking the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs to the UN CRPD at an event at the International Centre for Evidence in Disability on 18 February 2016.

CRPD and SDG infographic

On 18 February 2016 CBM will launch an info-graphic linking Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at a conference organised by the International Centre for Evidence in Disability (ICED) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

The infographic outlines the important relationship between the SDG Goals and the CRPD and highlights that SDG implementation must be underpinned by ensuring the human rights of all people with disabilities.

The infographic can be downloaded here as an A4 leaflet, or poster and the accessible word format is available in the downloads below. For those who wish to use the resource, the artwork for a pop up bannerA4 leaflet and promotional postcard can be downloaded here. We encourage everyone to use and share this resource.

More news will follow on the outcome of the London conference. You can follow proceedings on twitter - @CBMworldwide and @Diane_CBM

Diane Kingston
'I’d like to see people making the links between the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are for 15 years, the UN CRPD is for life! Let’s make sure human rights underscore the implementation of the SDGs at a national level!' - Diane Kingston, Deputy Director of CBM's department for International Advocacy and Alliances (IAA) and the UK's elected member of the Expert Committee for the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
